On The Grow, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in the Microgreen Tracker application ("the Service"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They are widely used to make services work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the owners of the service.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They enable:

• Authentication: Keeping you signed in and securing your session
• Security: Protecting against cross-site request forgery and unauthorized access
• Load balancing: Ensuring the Service is available and performs correctly

These cookies cannot be disabled if you wish to use the Service.

2.2 Preference Cookies and Local Storage

These remember your choices to provide a better experience:

• Text size: Your chosen text-size / display scale, so the app renders at your preferred size on each visit
• Your cookie choice: Whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, stored in your browser’s local storage. We have to remember this in order to honour it — particularly a rejection, which we would otherwise ignore on your next visit.
• Theme: Whether you are viewing in light or dark mode

Most other preferences—such as your default tray size, language, and Simple Mode—are saved to your account on our servers rather than in your browser.

2.3 Performance Measurement (Optional)

We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load, so we can find and fix slow screens. It reports aggregated performance timings and does not identify you personally, build a profile of you, or follow you to other websites.

This is the only optional collection we do, and it loads only if you choose Accept on our cookie notice. If you choose Reject, it is not loaded at all.

2.4 What We Do Not Use

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not run third-party advertising networks, social media pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell personal information.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Our Service integrates with a small number of third-party providers that may set their own cookies: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting and, with your consent, performance measurement), and Stripe (payments — its cookies are set when you start or manage a subscription, and Stripe uses them for fraud prevention). We do not control these cookies. The full list of providers, what each receives, and why, is in Section 3.2 of our Privacy Policy.

We have no advertising or social-media partners, so no advertising or tracking cookies are set through the Service.

4. Your Choices

You can control cookies in the following ways:

• Our cookie notice: On your first visit you will see a notice with Accept and Reject. Accept allows the optional performance measurement in Section 2.3. Reject prevents it from loading. Either way, strictly necessary and preference cookies continue, because without them you cannot stay signed in or keep your display settings.
• Changing your mind: Your choice is stored in your browser. Clearing your browser’s site data for this site clears it, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
• Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service.

We do not treat continued browsing as consent to the optional item — it loads only after you click Accept.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
